JoSAA Counselling 2024 Registration, Seat Allotment Download Link: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the Counselling Schedule for 2024 on their official website at josaa.nic.in soon. As per sources, The seat allocation Counselling process for admission to the various technical education institutes in India including the IITs, NITs, and others is starting on September 2024.
JoSAA Counselling 2024 is scheduled to start in September 2024 after the declaration of JEE Advanced Results 2024. JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 qualified aspirants will be able to register for JoSAA Counselling 2024 from September 2024.
JoSAA Counselling 2024
JoSAA counselling by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) for admission to engineering courses of IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs is scheduled to begin in September 2024. This time, aspirants have been given a one-time opportunity to choose a branch and choice filling of many courses from various institutes in JoSAA counseling. Therefore, aspirants should fill out the many college options in the decreasing order of their preference so they could get the desired college of their choice.
The aspirants can get an idea of selecting the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs by looking at the opening and closing ranks of the colleges of the previous years. Aspirants should also include the college branch ranked below the closing rank of the previous years according to their rank in the order of their interest in the college priority list. Aspirants must check all the details carefully before locking the college choice because after locking you can’t change it.

josaa.nic.in 2024 Seat Allotment
According to the JoSAA counseling 2024 process, the JoSAA 2024 first seat allotment will be done on the open rank only in the filled college seat allotment to all the aspirants according to their rank. In case there is no seat on open rank, the category aspirant will be allotted a college seat as per their category rank. In this way, the category aspirants can get the JoSAA seat rank-wise for 2024 in both the open and category.
After JoSAA counseling 2024 seat allotment, aspirants will have to upload scanned 10th, and 12th mark sheets, category certificates, photocopies of the canceled cheques, medical certificates, JEE Main and Advanced admit cards, etc. in online reporting. EWS and OBC aspirants will have to share category certificates after April 2024 else their category will be canceled and seats will be allotted from open rank.
