Women’s IPL Schedule 2023
The thrill of Indian Premier League has been seen since years, now it is the turn of Women’s IPL, which has its debut season this year. The whole world is eager for the Women’s IPL Schedule 2023. BCCI is also making these preparations with full swing. Players will be auctioned in second week of February 2023 for Women’s IPL 2023, but before that the players will have to get their registration done, the last date of which was 26 January 2023. 5 teams of the Women’s Premier League were sold for Rs 4669.99 crore (approximately Rs 4670 crore).
These five teams will be from Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Lucknow. Adani Group made the highest bid of Rs 1289 crore to buy a team of Women’s Premier League (for 10 years). Also Mumbai Indians bid for 912.99 crores, Royal Challengers Bangalore for 901 crores, Delhi Capitals for 810 crores and Capri for 757 crores.

Women’s IPL 2023 Auction Date
The IPL Auction for Women’s will be organized for the first time on the lines of IPL by the BCCI in the month of February. In which a total of five teams will participate. According to the news, it has been learned that the selection of the team for the first season of the women’s IPL will be done through the auction of the players.
There is a deadline for Indian players to register for the auction. Actually, according to the news, the auction will be organized in the second week of February 2023 for the Women’s IPL. In the documents sent to the Indian players, the BCCI has asked both capped and uncapped cricketers to register online to be entered in the player auction register.
Base prices of capped and uncapped players
In the Women’s IPL 2023 Auction, the base price of the capped players has been divided into 3 categories. This includes Rs 50, 40 and 30 lakhs. If we talk about the base price of uncapped players, then it has been kept at Rs 20 and Rs 10 lakh.

Women’s IPL 2023 Players
Former India women cricket team captain Mithali Raj has been appointed as a ‘mentor’ and advisor of the Women’s Premier League team Gujarat Giants. The inaugural phase of the league will be organized in March-April this year. She is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket, had retired from all formats last year, bringing an end to her 23-year-long career.
She will also help in promoting women’s cricket in Gujarat and promoting the game from the grassroots level as a mentor of the team. The Ahmedabad franchise was the most expensive of the five teams in the recent team auction, for which Adani Sportline spent Rs 1,289 crore.
