First launched as Fear Factor India on Sony TV it was sold to Colors TV and was relaunched as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi on 21 July 2008, Season 1,2 and Season 4 were hosted by Akshay Kumar, and Season 3 was hosted by Priyanka Chopra, Season 7 hosted by Arjun Kapoor, Season 5 & 6 were hosted by Rohit Shetty, from Season 8 to till season 12 it was hosted by Rohit Shetty and Rohit Shetty will again host season 13 for the respectively ninth time.
