Those who have been in love with the live action adaptations of various comics from both the English speaking and non-English speaking countries have a new update. This update has come out for the fans of the Japanese series based on the light novel comic series which was written by Daisuke Aizawa, and at the same time, which was illustrated by Tozai. The Eminence in Shadow also has a manga edition which comes with art from the creator Anri Sakano.
This manga edition has been serialized in the Kadokawa Shoten’s magazine, also called as Comp Ace. In the series, the story tells about a young Japanese boy who wishes to be in power, and wants to use it from the shadows. When he is in the process of training to gain the power, he gets hit by a truck and dies. As a result, he is reborn with a second chance in a fantasy virtual world, where he takes up the name of Cid Kagenou, and tries to keep a mediocre look for himself.
This is done by him so he can avoid to appear out when he is surrounded by others, and instead just stay in the shadows. To hide himself, Cid makes up stories by telling that the world is run by a cult, named the Cult of Diablos, and the secret organization “Shadow Garden” is the only organization which can fight them.
