XO, Kitty Season 2 Release Date & Story
There have not been a lot of shows which have been released on the streaming services of Netflix, which at the same time, are also the spinoffs of a Netflix original movie. But this is not anymore, as the comedy teen drama XO, Kitty, which was released on the streamer in May 2023, has become the first original Netflix spinoff which is based on another Netflix movie. The show XO, Kitty is a spinoff of another US based teen romance film series, also known as To All The Boys. In the series, the story tells about the life of Kitty Song Covey as she is on her journey to find true love in her own life. Finding her place at the Korean Independent School of Seoul is rough for Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart) at first, but her friends list start to grow rapidly. Kitty, who thinks that she knows everything about being in love heads to Korea because of love both for her mother and her boyfriend (in long distance) Dae, and there she starts to realize that she has to learn a lot about the affairs of her heart. It is also found out that Kitty’s crush Yuri (played by Gia Kim) has started to fall in love completely with him, and as a result, Kitty has to stop running from her own sexuality. Kitty (Anna Cathcart) has also told Dae that he is not the only guy for whom her feelings of affection have been held by her.
