UP Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme 2024
In the state budget for the new financial year, it has been announced give tablets and smartphones should be given to eligible students via Swami Vivekananda Empowerment Scheme. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the UP Free Tablet / Smartphone Scheme in August 2021 in the Vidhansabha.
And via this scheme, first one crore and then two crore youth will be provided tablets or smartphones. Under this, a provision of Rs 3600 crore has been kept in the budget for the financial year 2024. A mobile phone worth Rs 10 thousand 800 and a tablet worth Rs 12 thousand 700 will be provided under the scheme.
